Good morning from Breda!

Yesterday was a piece of cake. We had breakfast with Gerda and Bert at the hostel in Zoersel.

After we said goodbye, we cycled to the Westmalle Abbey and its sandy paths. At some points, we even had to push our bikes for a bit.

Later on, we zig-zagged for some kilometers until we reached the cycling path LF9 or NAP Route. On our way to Breda we waved at a group of scouts and a boat captain, among others.

We finally reached our destination for the day shortly after 2 pm –almost a record for the distance and our standards. We decided to give a try at the Night Flight hostel, which in the end was quite convenient. They had plenty of space for our bikes and we had a big dorm for the two of us!

Since the first time we were here we just went across the city centre, we seized the occasion to visit a bit around and enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful little city with a very well-preserved old town. Besides, they have lots of roosters and hens in the park. Something really worth seeing!

Today we will try a longer journey with more than 70 km. See you soon!

Wow, you’re traveling so light! And all those flat roads guarantee good times. Abrazos, Mary y Les
